What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state of mind that everyone experiences whether they are aware of it or not. The most noticeable times that hypnosis occurs is just before you fall asleep at night and just before you wake up in the morning. Hypnosis is characterized by certain types of brain wave patterns. The Beta brain wave pattern occurs during the normal waking, conscious state. Alpha brain waves take place when a person is very relaxed and/or under light hypnosis. Theta brain waves can be seen in deeper states of hypnosis and normal non-dreaming sleep. Most people go in and out of hypnosis many times during the day.
Is Hypnosis dangerous?
Not at all. People under hypnosis are fully aware of their surroundings, they are just so relaxed that they don't usually care to move about too much. No one has every been "stuck" in hypnosis. If something happened to the hypnotist or if the hypnotist left the room, the hypnotized person would wake up in about five to ten minutes on their own.
Can the hypnotist make people do things against their will?
No, people will not do anything under hypnosis that they would not do in a normal waking state. All their ethics and morals remain intact. They will not reveal their deepest secrets, unless they would divulge those secrets while not hypnotized. All hypnosis is really self-hypnosis, the hypnotist guides the person into the relaxed mental state known as hypnosis.
How do you choose people to be Hypnotized?
They are chosen randomly from volunteers (no one is ever forced to come up on stage), during a Show except in the case where you would like us to choose one or two people in a particular situation because they are a special guest or a notable member.
What if we need more supplies?
Call our office 1-800-715-1333 x 3292 and we will ship them out immediately.
If we sell out of one performance can we have a second show?
Yes, if our schedule permits. Or possibly later or earlier the same day.
Is the show suitable for young children?
Yes, it is a family show with no offensive material.
Can we book the show for next year to be sure we will be included in your route?
Yes, and in the cases where there are neighboring towns and limited dates, you receive the first option to host the Show. Each year we change the Show and you will find it easier to sell the tickets due to the previous years success.
